Our Y4 pupils will take part in the following workshop delivered by Flat Stan
Pupils will learn valuable first aid skills using our child-friendly manikins, including:
- An introduction to first aid
- When and how to seek help in a first aid situation
- How to check if someone is responsive and breathing
- How to perform chest compressions (CPR)
- How to help someone who is choking
- How to assist someone who is bleeding or has burnt themselves
By equipping children with these skills, we are not only providing them with practical knowledge but also fostering a sense of responsibility, empathy and the ability to help others in need
