Music education is a vital part of the national curriculum, nurturing creativity and encouraging self-expression to help and support children to explore emotions that are invoked by the art form. Through the study of Music, our pupils explore a variety of musical genres, develop coordination and listening skills, and cultivate an appreciation for the arts, including preferences. We aim to foster an environment where children feel confident to perform, create, and compose, including improvisation, while also understanding the cultural significance of music that surrounds our children in their day-to-day life.
